I recently had the unexpected pleasure of staying at Casita de la Playa after an upgrade from Hotel Volcano. Nestled on a tranquil beach, the location truly shines. My room had this fantastic ocean view that made mornings memorable. While the hotel is undoubtedly comfortable, some amenities could benefit from a refresh-especially the bathrooms, which felt a bit cramped. Daily housekeeping was inconsistent, which I think requires attention. On the flip side, the inclusive breakfast was excellent with fresh local flavors crafted by the lovely Diana, who made mornings special with eggs and wonderful fresh juices. The beachfront access is a bonus for those of us who live for the ocean. It's an elegant choice for travelers who still seek value. With a few thoughtful improvements, Casita de la Playa could seamlessly merge luxury and cost-effectiveness for everyone dreaming of a Caribbean escape. Would I return? Absolutely.
